About Me
Hi! My name is Terria Wallace. I have lived in Kentucky my whole life. We currently live in Shepherdville, on a small farm. I have been married to my husband Mark since 2009. We have a total of 7 children together (his, mine, ours, but they are all mine!) We also have 12 grandchildren and another on the way!
I have spent most of my career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. It has been a very fullfilling role, and made me realize being a caregiver and helper is just in my nature. It has allowed me to service people by providing physical and emotional support, and education to improve their overall wellbeing.
However, my passion is and always has been, anything to do with pregnancy, birth, and babies!!! I started researching ways i could apply this passion to my daily life. I was fascinated with the ways being a doula could provide much needed assistance and care to women and families. And even more so, realizing that my love for helping people through healthcare had already made me a doula in real life, just in a different setting.
I know through these life experiences, that I have been called to be a Doula. I researched many different opportunities for training, and ultimately chose ProDoula for my training and certification. I am precertified as a Postpartum Doula and Infant Care Specialist. I am also studying and training under Stillbirthday, as a Birth & Bereavement Doula, for all things pregnancy, birth, and infant loss. I am hoping this allows me to serve and provide care for you through all phases of your pregnancy and birth.
